MAIN STREETS POPPIN JULY 4TH CELEBRATION


Planning a weekend trip over the Holiday weekend the downtown shops are hosting Main Street’s Poppin’.

Here are the details:

Saturday- July 3, 2010

 Participating shops will fly an American Flag, have a sidewalk sale, and participate in the Shopping Flag Pull.  The Flag Pull works like this:  Each participating store will be given 10 flags.  At the time of purchase pull a flag to see what you win, each store will have a flag worth 5%, 10% or 15% off your purchase the other flags are for a special gift.  Sale items are excluded from the Flag Pull. 

Other daytime activities:  The Annual Pie Baking Contest.  If you want to enter a pie it must be delivered to the Birdman by 12:30pm with judging at 1pm.  The pies will be sold following the judging.

 The Shopping Flag Pull at the downtown shops.

 Freedom Appreciation Day   this event will be hosted at the Myrtles Plantation on the lawn from 3pm-7pm.  This is a family fun event, with music, food and fun.  Music will be by: Emily Branton, Nancy Roppolo and The Angola Band.  Please wear RED WHITE AND BLUE.  Let support our servicemen past present and future for the sacrifices they have made to keep us America The Beautiful. 

At dark The Town of St. Francisville will host fireworks and music at the town ball park on Burnett Rd behind the Sonic.
